In the last couple pages I'm seeing a disturbing trend beginning. There are a couple posts,(kunama & ryannary417) that use other peoples art from previous posts. I'm hoping you guys got permission from the original artists to use their work. At least Kunama gave credit to the original artist but it means very little without prior permission. IMO

My old art teachers use to make us hammer out sketches as quick as we could, doing the invisible whip-cracking to make us work as fast as we could.

I'm...confused as to why there's a Fanart thread and a fanart discussion thread. Wouldn't it make it that much harder to navigate and figure out just what the hell what people are talking about?

^^ Thankee, Lun. I actually did just now find the fanfic thread, but as I'd already put it here, didn't see the merit in bumping it for no real reason. I'm glad I got Richard down at least sorta right--I'd never written him before, and hae found his character very intriguing. I also couldn't resist the idea of a Richard introspective as per his motives for actually following him around; always willing to create more mayhem, but perhaps the slightest nudging from his 'inner rodent problem' to do something other than fwooming his way through everything.

Though fwooming is awesome, don't get me wrong.

Yeah right, I'm calling bullshit on that claim. Considering the picture you ripped off was posted on page 17 and your card is at the TOP of page 18, I think you know damn well who/where you stole it from. Either way, stealing other people's art, slapping your name on it and posting it as your own is a pretty classless act IMO.

Chill out, Verne. Take it up with the people hosting the image if you think it's fraudulent. And honestly, what kind of window-likcer would assume that the pic belonged to him in the first place? It's a goddamn Magic card, for Christ's sake--nobody ever uses their own art for those things. Namely because the cards are almost universally horrible/fanboyish in the extreme that nobody could ever begin to take the things seriously. I know I didn't.

But yes, he should have at least credited the pic he used the artist, if nothing else.
