All I have to say, Lar, is DAMN! I wish I could ink that well (though I'm slowly learning, if I could only find finer lined pens, maybe I should try brushes)

I'm trying to learn G.I.M.P. fro coloring and layering purposes, but I still pencil and ink by hand (drawing with a mouse is anathema to me).

Drawing with a mouse can be done but it's an incredible beast of a learning curve. Don't bother. It's like drawing with a point suspended at random in a bar of soap. Stick with the other techniques until you can get your hands on a tablet. Good luck

Of all things I am most impressed about Lar, it's that he doesn't openly say "Yeah, it looks great, but I could've done Cale's legs better in that one." or "I know, Sooba looks awful :*(" like most exceptionally good artists do.
