Two points at the corners, one point at the middle of the bottom. All straight lines go towards one of them.
Two point: two points on either side. All horozontal lines go to one or the other
One point: one point at the middle of the horizonline, all lines showing depth go towards it.

I've not heard of 3 point perspective before, but if its like what I think its like that could give some seriously twisted angles. Do you place two points near the edge of the seen to represent the far extremes of the horizon line then a third somewhat above and between the two to denote extreme highth/depth?
