You have an unhealthy attraction to elven men, too? Maybe we should start a support group: Cale Anonymous.

She's more into the brunettes, though XD Brunettes with white strips... of... yeah.
nothingbroken
Jan 3 2008, 07:46 AM
Does Tavor really count as a brunette? Maybe he does.

Hard to choose. His hair's always looked rather gray-blue to me...
The white streak is the best part. ♥
Rip Van Ishmael
Jan 3 2008, 07:49 AM
That shade of grey he had to have been a brunette, unless his hair was always that color. Kinda hard to tell with elves.
nothingbroken
Jan 3 2008, 07:59 AM
Yeah, might have started out brown and gotten more gray and streaked from stress.
Poor Tavor's had a tough life. And after-life too.
Lunaya
Jan 3 2008, 02:09 PM
Though I have heard of instances where some children are born with little patches of white in their hair. For example, Edward Rutherford's novel, London had an entire family line of boys with black hair and a little patch of white at the forehead. Either way, I love the look.

The way Tavor looks does give him a cool personality. I doubt hes evil. I think the archmage is, and that the group is following the wrong path currently.
Grym
Jan 5 2008, 02:45 AM
Yeah, he only shot Cale in the chest twice because he was trying to show him the true path! Oh, and the attempted head-stab? Same.
Neo, that's a really good drawing!
But you don't have to do the code thing. That is unnecessary

You better do him justice, Sassypants >:-(
I should try drawing again >.> I've been too busy lately though : \ Bleh.
Lunaya
Jan 6 2008, 05:32 AM
The easiest way to draw a maskless Richard would probably be to go back to page 30 and take a good look at the outline of his skull. You can see his teeth and his jawbone. I guess you would just have to add skin. I would try it, but I don't think I could do Richie justice.
pentheraphobia
Jan 6 2008, 02:07 PM
no, you see, he's not entirely skeleton. that was his sekletal figure, and he has flesh. it's difficult-er to draw what i don't already know, thus i just have to use my.. imagination.. *rainbows* and guess to what looks/is percieved as accurate.
Lunaya
Jan 6 2008, 04:10 PM
Oh, I know he's not just a skeleton under there, but the skeletal structure is important to knowing how to draw his face. We don't have much else to go on.

I don't think anyone other than Lar can technically do a cowl-ess Richard justice. Even though we've already seen him with his hood and cowl down anyway.
Pg. 83 anybody?
But if you do do it, make sure you get his nose right. He has one of them weird, angular noses that dips in a bit at the bridge then juts out.

Agreed. He also had a chin that sticks out a bit, and teeth that almost look like they belong to a cat.

I personally don't particularly want to see what Richard looks like without the cowl. It messes up his air of mystery.
But if someone other than Lar does it, it doesn't really count.
Heh. Shoop da woop.
Lunaya
Jan 7 2008, 07:50 PM
Part of the humor could be that Richard is in full going-to-the-beach gear and still manages to have his cowl and mask on.
Edit: Oh. You were talking about Penny's art, weren't you? >_<

Jan 7 2008, 08:25 PM
eh... to me mystery is a backwards concept.
if i don't know something then i percieve it to be less important then what someone else might think of it's mysteriousness.
in essence, i'd think higher of something if i knew more about it, and less if i didn't.
edit: on mast3r's new fanart, this is my comment. what amazes me is when people draw immodestly, they character portrayed has the facial appearance as though it's the most natural thing. always smiling as if their present expression will never change in life... pardon my negativeness, tis just disgusting when people draw it as such.
