VG Cats and Explosm are a couple good ones not yet mentioned.
VG Cats is about video games and all sorts of other random wackiness. Explosm is a highly offensive and highly hilarious web comic, not for the weak of heart. Enjoy!

Also, I fail at forums, and don't know how to hyperlink things, so here are the sites: www.vgcats.com and www.explosm.net.

Question: am I the only one that doesn't really like VG cats? They had a few good strips, but most aren't even close to funny.
Read Dr McNinja and something positive. Read them nowwwwwwwwwww. Espeacially something positive.
Queen of wands isn't bad; but its a story, not humor; and is over now (the artist actually chose to end it, it's not just "too lazy to update")
Also the perry bible fellowship, but it doesn't update anymore.

Just thought of another one. If you're looking for one that has a more seriously driven story, though liberally splashed with humor, check out
Errant Story. Link leads to the first comic, pretty long story up to now, updates a couple times a week at least. Enjoy

I tend to agree. Machall and Applegeeks have the best original art and a very distinct style of comics that make them special. Plus, both Iam and Hawk possess a very good sense of stylistics and color.

I've kept Machall on my list despite the comic being closed because he mentioned something about someday making another one. I'm holding out for the announcement of his next comic.

I'm sure that if/when Ian and Matt start the new comic you'll see it posted on more then one forum seeing as machall had a large reader base. And if you hadn't noticed the full stop in Matt's news post links to a

WoW related of course, that I don't think has been mentioned, is
Dark Legacy Comics They don't update quite as often as I'd like, but they are funny. Updates probably come 2-3 times a month, but it might be more often, I don't keep absolute track.

Another strictly WoW related comic, VERY funny even if you're not into WoW, is

In general, I don't like webcomics. Most of them are incredibly stupid or bite on really lame, over-done styles and just aren't plain original, or are focused on pleasing people with fetishes (coughwotchcoughfitsallofthiscough makesmeflyintohomicidalcoughcoughragescough cough). However,
http://achewood.com/ is fucking awesome. Probably too "hard" for most people here to get, but it's damned funny. Very character-driven without any stupid webcomic cliches and you could probably start from anywhere and enjoy yourself, right now they're in the middle of a thing where one of the characters is getting married. Be sure to read the alt text.
