So... I picked up Marvel 1602 today and read through it (mostly due to me being a Neil Gaiman fan) and I got interested in this universe..
So.. where should one start for some good reads in this universe ?

Well I would suggest going after the Ultimate Universe because it is a new recon and is easier to pick up, though I'm primarily a Cable (Whiny McEmopants) & Deadpool reader, I guess the several Avengers, Spiderman, and Xmen books would be good. But if you are going to get into it unless you are a super big fan I suggest going after the Trade Paper Backs.

If you have a wii, get the marvel: Ultimate alliance. Really fun game, and bits of plot and storyline are told along the way.

Marvel 1602 is amazing. A good start is... err... Well, Get Marvel: Ultimate Aliance even if you don't have a wii. I have it on PS2, for example. It takes a couple of liberties, but all-around is really good at introducing one to Marvel. Also, there are Marvel Guidebooks published by DK Books... For example, in the Spiderman one, it introuduces you to all Main Spiderman Villians, Characters, and Concepts chronologically, so I suggest you pick some of those up. As for the comics, just pick a semi-isolated story (like a limited series), Get one of them "Classics" collections, or start on a reletavely new universe, like Ultimate.

I'm sorry... I do it a lot. And I suffer from the Chronic Wii Speech Impediment, as My PS3-loving friend says, Whenever I say "Wiimote".
