The kid just has to feel loved, not be loved, and if you don't have a competent parent but they love their kid, it's not right. Same with relationships. For about ten years, my dad was a horrible partner (and even now, he's only marginal). He'd cheat on them, manipulate them, abuse them and encourage them to do the same to him. He loved most of them and they loved him but funnily, love wasn't enough to fix that.
Love is just an emotion we feel. It means nothing out of context and even in context, how we feel means next to nothing compared to what we do.

I tend to find tainted idealism intellectually stimulating. Feel comforted that my loins didn't even begin to bubble, let alone boil. It takes incredibly unrealistic fantasies of power imbalances to spike any form of sexual interest from me, and that is completely divorced from gender.

Probably not. They have their own peculiar codes of conduct which means only relatives face the brunt of it. Most likely, both sides would find you terribly dull and ignore you, leaving you to speak to the outsiders and doddering relatives.

I read the comics. I enjoy them, too. I just don't head into the Comics section because my enjoyment of such will not be increased in the slightest by quoting what I've just read to people who've also just read it or watching people try and claim that it's a rip off WoW.
