I like ferrets. Other people's ferrets. When they've been bathed. I don't think I could handle the smell in my house for very long. That, and if they hid my TV controllers I would probably think I was going crazy before I realized that the mammals of satan were to blame. I prefer dogs. Nice, stupidly loyal, dogs.

Ender's game had a few really good moments for me but alot of it was kind of dark. Not that dark is a particularly bad thing, but dark in a sense that the author went WELL out of his way so they'd write things like "gritty" and "intense" on the back of the book jacket.

..that film sucked, and if you took the time to watch the later few... well your braver than i am...

The hell? Highlander was awesome, so was Endgame and the first TV show, all others sucked.

hated it tbh i can understand people liking it but.... the lightning... wtf is up with the lightning i mean come on, WHY! it doest make the graphics any cooler it doesnt make it look more professional it makes you feel embarresed watching the film because of the shoddy effects.

Dont gimme the crap about it being old, they coulda made it better but couldnt be bothered.

this is true, bad effects do not make a bad movie... there are still things such as plot, character interests and action.

This film is based around action, and yeah the effects are kinda KEY at points... which made it for tough viewing when the final fight scene is mostly flashes of weird ass lightning that have absolutly no point. Change the actors, kill the effects and maybe touch up the swordplay a little and BAM you have a winner...

...as it is it is sucky, this is an opinion though so im gonna say that you are entitled to yours so, if you think its okay, then fair dues.

Tell ya a good film though, Shawshank redemption, damn that film was good
