Its were a person can't control outbursts, unlike in Duce Bigalo it can be anything put swearing, like I remember hearing about one guy that barked but covered it up with laughing when he felt it coming on.

QUOTE (Jabba @ May 17 2007, 05:01 PM)

i think cookies can actually say they are the medium for all other food goods, because there is always a type of cookie that encompasses anything else you can mention (except doughnuts, though we are trying to form a treaty with them, also cake, but so far we have heard nothing from the cake god)
Spyder- What can we say...Verby was the god of cake and he isn't around much.... Can't say I've ever put cookies IN a cake, but I have crumbled cookie toppings for cakes. If I recall correctly cookies were mercs in the Cake/Pie wars.
And you can keep your filled doughnuts. Fresh, warm glazed doughnuts are the best, mmmm...

optimal word being fresh because after an hour they are crap, jellies have a longer shelf life.

Gummis last forever...
Hunter
May 18 2007, 01:18 AM
they just get hard, good for colourful gravel if someone wanted it.
The Lone David
May 18 2007, 01:21 AM
They still taste good, like jawbreakers.
Hunter
May 18 2007, 01:23 AM

spyderjaxon
May 18 2007, 01:25 AM
Spyder- Yes, absolutely. Freshness is a must. Not only do they harden, but after a while the glaze melts and becomes an icky, nasty mess. Doughnuts, breakfast pastry delights!
The Lone David
May 18 2007, 01:27 AM
Gummi filled doughnut anyone?
Hunter
May 18 2007, 01:30 AM
But what about Danishes, they are so good if done right.
The Lone David
May 18 2007, 01:32 AM
IF they're done right...
Otherwise they're pretty awful.
Hunter
May 18 2007, 01:35 AM
Ever have Danishes from gas stations? like trying to eat wet flour with a cough syrup topping.
The Lone David
May 18 2007, 01:37 AM
Think that's bad? Try my cafeterias Danishes, It's like eating rancid cheese covered rubber.
Hunter
May 18 2007, 01:39 AM
*gag* I usually won't eat from a cafeteria unless the food was cooked fresh.
The Lone David
May 18 2007, 01:40 AM
My cafeteria has somewhat edible food, But its nothing compared to what I cook myself.

Find a bakery that specialises in desserts, you will find many a good things there.
The Lone David
May 18 2007, 01:47 AM
There's a small general store that used to be here, but it went out of business.
I could get broken cookies at 3 for a quarter, still fresh from the oven.

Jabba
May 18 2007, 09:36 AM
heh how much is a quarter?

just like to point out the exchange rates...
*coughs*£=2x$*coughs*
hmm belated response but tourrette syndrome (commonly called tourrettes) is very similar to obssesive compulsive disorder (OCD). With tourrettes its an inability to stop yourself doing certain things, these are called ticks, i jerk my head a lot which is my main tick (which i have tactfully covered by having long hair, means you cant notice just looks like i am flicking my hair from my eyes) but i have numerous others. OCD is where you HAVE to do something otherwise in your mind something bad will happen. They are similar and usually go hand in hand.

hope i cleared things up for you.
And the swearing ticks, they are the most advanced and worst cases of Tourrettes, i have pretty low tourrettes with only 1 vocal tick (i click like a grasshopper... hard to explain that when someone doesnt know what i have heh)
Hunter

a Quarter is 25 cent piece, I can't think of the Pound Sterling equivalent right now.

Man, that was cheesy. Sorry, but I couldn't resist...
And yeah, I know that is the symbol for pounds. I'm weird today...

Hunter
May 18 2007, 07:29 PM

Jabba

*rubs temples* seriously no more business economics, i have enough of that in class, back to the gummi cookie, surely the gummi would melt and make a mess?
Hunter
May 18 2007, 07:41 PM

Jabba

heh poor old america, what ever happened to the allmighty dollar?
Spyder- Hell, I don't know. Economics is weird anyway. No money really
means anything. The last economic system to really mean something was barter. Though I can understand the arguements of how we grew out of it, still... all money by itself is worthless. It is only that we place an artificial value on it that makes it worth something.
Edit: I've seen melted gummies...so I guess they could.
Jabba
May 18 2007, 07:49 PM
how much is it going to take to steer this conversation back to baked confectionaries?
spyderjaxon
May 18 2007, 07:51 PM
spyder- I SAID gummies could melt...sheeshh. NEVER use writing Icing on cheescake...it gets absorbed.
Jabba
May 18 2007, 07:54 PM

spyderjaxon
May 18 2007, 07:56 PM
Spyder- At least you didn't do it on Christmas treats for the family... It looked so BAD! But it was still yummy. You could try the pre-made candy lettering...not everyone really likes them though.
Jabba
May 18 2007, 07:59 PM
