Very cool update. I'm keen on the dragons -- the OLD ones, not the new, winged, rider-y ones. Those old sages that ate Moses...er...whatever his name was. I like that they want it to just let go, to be at peace instead of trying for some distant revival.

They seem to be in direct opposition to the archmage's plans, which is...fascinating. There's an interesting dynamic. Maybe they pacted with the Vulii to bring Kethenecia down the first time. In the past, I mean. Maybe they then lost control of the Vulii -- hence the "the future is even more corrupt than now" line -- and no longer want Kethenecia, the failed experiment in virtue, to be revived in such a worthless manner, after all.

Detachable is so much better. You can take it out to clean it, get replacements, upgrades...the possibilities are endless!

Add a long chain to it and you can stretch the fork further than your normal arm can ever reach. Like a very painful whiplash... that would occasionally fish out eyeballs if you're lucky

I like Richard's old hand better though... Yet he still carries around that Fork... Oh well, that's Richard. He can do anything he wants.

and if he needs his other fingers for something artistic, he can replace it with his hand often

For some reason this doesn't look like a fight...everybody but Richard looks too surprised to equip some weapon meant to deliver major destruction upon the world, and smash some dragon heads. On the other hand, they'll need to battle at least one dragon to get the Sword (btw, why bother with sword, when they have FORK?! And Richard)

The Handfork of Truth reminds me of... oh, crap, I had a funny punchline to this. Damnit, I hate when I forget this kinda stuff. *sigh*

Again, I completely forgot about update night, but I'm glad I got to read it eventually. It looks like a lot of people are crowding the site around midnight EST. It's barely been two hours and we're already halfway through the second page!

Has anyone noticed this is the SECOND time Richard revived (what I thought) was only supposed to be a punchline? First, he mentions "For Pony" again, and now he revives the "Fork of Truth" joke. Not that it wasn't amusing, and really, you guys made some interesting potential situations, but I hope they don't start getting old just because people found them so entertaining at first.

P.S. I promise never to write a post while eating a Drumstick ice cream ever again. I'm too hyper and I'll regret writing this in the morning.

I mean, honestly, how many different ways can you draw chainmail and a plain blue cloak?

What if the sword of truth is the anchor? That would be cool, and also i love the fork of truth joke, They bring back old jokes at times when you might not expect them, to make it extra funny. like cale's femeninity, richard being called dick,for pony, all that stuff.

Funny thing is though, I'd have expected the Sword of Truth to be half-buried in something, judging from how Tavor holds it. But then, it looks like he's stabbing someone (probably the lizard guy)
