In a world where orphanages randomly attack innocent bystanders and evil elves cut down people where they stand, with their kids watching no less!, I believe it's time to honor someone who has inspired all of us and given us hope in a dark, dark world. Yes, that's right - it's time to honor the bunny!
But how can we truly pay tribute to such an icon, if said icon lacks something so essential as a name? What if the Texans had shouted "Remember that missionary-fort back west somewhere!" instead of "Remember the Alamo!"? Or hordes of players across the globe cried out "That one guy that rushed into that one place and got his entire group killed by those things!" instead of the timeless battle cry of "LEEEEEROOOY JENKINS!"?
Friends, we must not let this travesty go on! It is time for us to step forward and demand that the bunny be given the honor that he is due! We must not let his noble sacrifice for the good of all go unrecognized! My brothers and sisters in LFG - we must give the bunny his name!
Now of course I can't make ya'll give the bunny a name nor can I enforce the use of it. But for the short time that these forums have been up - the bunny has been a mainstay in our discussions. And besides - you wouldn't want to let such a well thought and expressed post go to waste. Besides, it'll be fun.
So here's what I suggest. For the 60 hours (perhaps longer if deemed necessary by all ya'll) this thread will be taking nominations for the name of the bunny (it's currently 3:26 am est - what can I say? no class tommorow). At the end of this time period (say 3:30 pm est on Sunday) I'll set up a poll with all the nominations and the name with the most votes will officially become the bunny's name.
As for me, I nominate a name that signifies the bunny's glorious final moments. A name symbolic of the blaze of glory he perished in. A name that none will forget.
I propose we name the bunny... Fwoom.

Fred. His name should be Fred. Fred the Bunny.
Besides, Crunch is the name of our rather talented Minotaur friend...
Fwoom does have potential, though...

Nah, I think we should name him 'Ash' considering that is all he is right now... Ash.

the name Ash was once upon a time cool. then pokemon tainted it,a nd it may never be used for anything again.

Hello, If you would all observer page 1 of the glorious LFG, I believe that you would find that the bunny in question already has a name.
What is this name, you ask? What shall we call our glorious beacon of hope?
Little Guy.
The name "Little Guy" hath been bestowed upon the golden rabbit by one far above us lowly mortals. Cale'Anon, the young (and bold) adventurer has named him as such. And by sequential logic, the one who gives Cale life and thought, Sohmer, has deemed this to be so. Let us not deny Sohmer.
Of course, people who are fans of the more diabolical of our adventurers may claim that Richard, having first laid eyes upon the bunny, named him "A Visual Aid", and requred the bunny's help in demonstrating the nature of evil to Cale. This is an argument that is poignant, and holds much weight.
The retort to this, of course, is that Cale, in the first panel of the first page, spoke the first words of LFG. "Greetings, World." Some might infer that he was speaking to the rabbit, who is seen to be not-that-far off screen.
Therefore, I propose one of three names.
1. Little Guy
2. A Visual Aid
3. World
I personally favor the name "Little Guy", because aside from being the most likely, we can give him a middle name that begins with the letter "F". Why, you ask? Because then he would be initialed "LFG", and could be the proper mascot of LFG.
___
As a note: I protest the name "Fwoom" on the grounds that Cale too experienced the "FWOOM", caused by Richard, for which you propose we name the bunny. (See page 3, panel 10, for reference.)
We can clearly see that Cale is still named "Cale", and not "Fwoom" in the comic. Therefore, this is not a process for the naming of an entity, but for the maiming of an entity.
The fact that character names were being discussed at the time of said second "FWOOM"-ing is further evidence for my case. Richard had just finished naming himself, yet Fwoom did not become Cale's name, despite happening shortly afterwards.
____
A second note: In a stroke of genius, I propose a name which is agreeable to all.
Little "Fwoom" Guy. This means that we can still call him Fwoom as an honorary, but his initials will be LFG. He will be a powerful mascot.

Low-key, your logic is infallible. Resistance is quite obviously futile. I think that Little "Fwoom" Guy is a perfect name. Not only does it pay homage to the Bunny - but it also recognizes his two dearest companions, those who were with him at the very end. And you are correct. How can we lowly mortals deny what Sohmer has deemed to be so?
I accept your compromise - here's to Little "Fwoom" Guy!

I do like
Fwoom, however the humour associated with the name
George is appealing as well. It'd almost be like an inside joke... sort of... we'd like, belong and stuff, and if you don't know why we named the bunny George and you don't get it then you're not cool! Yeah... we could be like that... Make me feel like I belong! Name the bunny George!

I think that Little "Fwoom" Guy is perfect. Fwoom being an awsome name in itself but Cale already called him Little Guy and all together it creats LFG. The perfect name for the cute little pile of ashes.
