I've read a bunch of this board, and im kinda surprised not to see what seems to be pretty obvious to me.

Richard is a warlock...but he obviously has prior knowledge of Ice spells, making him a mage in life.

Now sure, the 'Richard is the Archmage' theory is already out there.. but One thing i have not see makes a whole lot of sense.

Richard is the Archmage.

And he will end up killing himself.

Why? well its richard...

1) he was a mage in life
2) He has absolutely no respect for life. His older self does and wants to help people...but will die... and when he is reanimated, he will remember who killed him. but it wont take long for the self loathing over being undead to squash most of any prior love of life...but the final nail in his coffin (figuratively) will be realizing he is the person that killed him. that kinda thing can drive a guy from sane to psycho in 2 seconds flat.

Not only that... richard will then go ahead and kill himself because he LIKES what he is now and would not want to disrupt his own personal history.

That's where your problem is. You can't think outside the box, "the box" being "World of Warcraft".

In reagular myth, a warlock is just a male witch. Hince spells of all nature. I wouldn't be surprised if he knew aeromancy, geomancy, necromancy, or aquamancy.

and pedomancy. Never forget the child-spells.

Teomancy? tempomancy? (God powers and the ability to control temprature? important ones yes yes)

zoomancy, the animal magic also kleptomancy

Lets not forget Paradymancy, Pwnmancy, or my favorite, Fwooshmancy XP.
