Just wanted to mention that I was in the bookstore today (sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere, I searched and didn't find it wink.gif ) and saw something I thought was really neato.

Raymond E. Feist, Magician Apprentice, as a graphic novel smile.gif I have since looked around a bit and noticed that in comic form, it is a bit further along than in the graphic novel (progress wise) just in case like me you're impatient and want to see how they put the rest of the story.

For those of us hardcore fans, insert my guffaw and outburst of ****Spoiler*****how Tomas' parents spoke of pug in the beginning, or the incosistances they went through to make it into a novel (which didn't bother me much), or just the fact that the Great One on the ship is wearing a green robe.... that outburst took some explaining for my poor wife. smile.gif****End****

Overall, I think it'll be neat to see how it all works out. I certainly hope they don't stop with the first book.

P.S As this is my first post i'll put the unnecessary extra stuff here. I've been lurking for oh 6-8 months or so, LOVE lfg and licd, and some non Lars'n'Peeps comics such as Inverloch, Realm of Atland, Goblins, PvP online, CTRLALTDEL, and so on and so on.

My Authors/Series
David Eddings: BelGariad, Mallorean, Elenium, and the Tamuli, though i'll admit the last two were better when I was younger, but I still enjoy them as a light read.
Raymond E. Feist: Riftwar Saga and Legacy, Serpentwar, Conclave of Shadows, Darkwar Sage, Tales of the Riftwar, and on and on... Very enjoyable author, i've love his work for years, and like eddings, i've read their work uncountable times.
Goodkind: Same feelings as the vast majority, after pillars of creation which kept me goin Where the hello dolly is richard? I've let the series go a bit... Which isn't to say i'm not looking forward to the mini-series... but I do wish he'd hurry up, quit preaching, and finish already. That being said....
Robert Jordan: See above, add in massive amounts of crazy plot twists, unnecessary people, and of course the wonders of skipping main characters for entire books....
George R. Martin: Very good series so far, massive death and rampant treachery goodness... I likes it alot.
Piers Anthony: Classic goofy fantasy for lack of a better term. I loved On a pale horse, only one of the incarnations i've read... as well as many other of his books.
R.A Salvatore: Love it love it love it. If you get the chance to pick up any part of this series, i'd say have no worries about buying the collections. The books themselves are somewhat short, but when you put them together, you get a good hunk of story and a good 2 days or so of reading.
I know i'm leaving a few out and got vague at the end there, buuuut, I need ter get back to work. Enjoy and see ya around!
