I don’t know how I should start this, but in a nut shell I want to share a few things in this post.
First off how I discovered LFG. Recently a friend of mine showed me the LFG musical clip on Youtube and I fell in love with Richard, such a beautiful voice! So I read LFG. It took me a few days though, as I will not let my self slack on my own projects.
So… I was reading the recent news post and started to think about what I’ve read. I ended up thinking about my favorite book series. So I thought I would share that awesome series with every one.
I’m also very curious if any one else has read it. The only people that I know of who have are people I’ve lent it to. I can’t give any links or such because you know, forum rules, so I hope that the title of the series is enough.
It is called “Malazan Book of the Fallen” and is written by Steven Erikson.
It blends every thing I enjoy about fantasy into one incredible series. I don’t even want to dare spoil any of it so no details, sorry. I can say this though; it is set in a HUGE world. I’ve read the wheel of time, all of it, and the Malazan series puts the scope of that series to shame. Or at least that is my perception, I could be “wrong”, to each their own.
I hope my first post inset to forceful for some, I very much enjoy the Malzan series and hope others will too!
PS: Be nice and I may end up doing some LFG fan art, for fun.
PSS: I don’t suck at drawing, to bad.

Crank out that fanart, man. We won't complain.
I haven't read that series, but Les Miserables has eaten my brain for the now. Put it on that list over there. *waves to a list as long as the Nile*
Welcome aboard.

MBotF is a very good one. Haven't read it personally, but more than a dozen friends recommend it, one threatens to skin me alive if I don't read it

Unfortunately, I didn't have much time for reading and searching the book.
Riftwar books are another series you should definitely read. By Raymond E. Feist. And 'A Song of Ice and Fire'.
Welcome though. Enjoy!

Aslong as you dont make it into an erotic fanfic where you make all the character furries and sometimes place yourself in the centre of the story.

Yes.. that would be a, terrible.. thing.. >_>

I've been in the market for a new series ever since Martin managed to chew through his chains and hasn't been hauled back to finished Dance with Dragons yet.
First one to wow me with a synopsis of the series wins.. um.. cookies?

steven erikson... That name is strangely familiar. I know he's a good author, I just can't recall any of his books I have read.
