Naruto was pretty awesome for a while, the manga at least, its still good. But the amount of filler int he animated series is disgusting, i can't even watch it. But the 2nd series of Naruto is pretty awesome. its nice to see how everyone grows up and what not.

What sucks is it turns into another DBZ series. Repeat of same exact situation, and drawing out stuff that doesn't' need drawing out for drama that just isn't needed.. much like how Bleach is now.

Now i'm just Bleh on it. thats why i like shorter series, and "different" series. Like D.Grayman is really different, and so was full metal alchemist. Those are nice

That wasn't the point of the post... But, you do realize that naruto was inspired by DBZ. the creator of naruto worshiped akira toryama and his works, especially the dragonball series. So hence the "similarity". aka the repitition in plot and story, but that'll happen to any series that drags on for more than 2 seasons.

Hey, now Chaos.. we can't all be perfect.
For starters, I don't watch the english version at all... it's much better in it's original japanese (with subtitles, of course).
I actually relate to Naruto in certain ways, and I RARELY have empathy to the "main" character. He's just such an outcast, and everything seems to go wrong for him left and right. I'm not sure how much you've seen/read, but the story gets amazing. Probably one of the best anime series of all time.

The best thing about the Japanese version vs the English version of Naruto:
Not once in the regular series does he even THINK about saying "Believe it!". And thus, with watching the Japanese version, the healing can begin.

I haven't gotten very far in Bleach yet... Episode 115 or so. Does it become drawn out? Because it was quite interesting beforehand. I didn't even know the Bounto subplot was filler until someone with the manga told me; I thought it seamed in pretty well.

I'm at chapter 193 in the manga, and not once have I seen naruto say 'believe it'. What's with all of believe it nonsense?

He says it ALL THE TIME in the English dubbed anime. I'm afraid to watch Cartoon Network until the wee hours of the morning. Luckily, the English manga didn't adopt that AWFUL, VIOLATING catch phrase.
