The way I see it, Richard's pony would have horns. For stabbing any attacking orphans, farmers, dwarves, or bunnies that threaten him.

For some reason, ive got a feeling Richard would rather have a pony like this:



Behind that evil front ive got a feeling he'd get great satisfaction from acting this camp. He loves throwing people off how bad he actually is by acting feminine anyway, this is just how he'd roll in my mind

Unfortunately there's nothing of that sort in WoWModelviewer... Otherwise I would've been all over it...

As I see it "pony" can only be what The ßob™ posted or something really deep that nobody would expect, I hope it is the second. Note that it is used as a proper name, he doesn't say: "for my pony", "for the pony", etc. but "for Pony".

My guess is that Pony is a name. For someone he knew in the past when he was still alive. And all his killing is merely a post traumatic...

i don't think it's someone he knew in the past ... it's for ponies, and Pony is just a cute way for saying it, i guess. you know how lots of things are that way? ya, basically just for short. also, you gotta remember, Warlocks can summon their mounts which happen to be horses, and i guess he just has a thing for ponies.

Perhaps Sohmer and Lar will tell us all about "Pony" soon. Might be significant, might not be.

Y'know, I think when Richard says 'FOR PONY!', he's not talking about one pony. He's talking about all ponies. EVERY PONY.

When he's done killing everything, there will only be ponies left. And he will be their king.

or he's talking about a pony he had during his childhood, aptly named 'Pony'. He fights for him/her.

I think one of the reasons he says "For Pony" is because it annoys Cale. Just to bug him.

First, I agree - that's really cool (the original work done in the wow model thingy), but what's with the staff? Only time I remember a staff is when he was carrying around Pinky's remains.

Second, did you draw the dark my little pony yourself? If you did, that was badass. Good interpretation.

Last, although I'd like to think that Richard is a general, pony lover. I think whomever said he did it just to piss Pinky off (Bloodypiper in the post right above mine, now that I look at it) is dead on. He does things to get people's goat and just to throw them off. Who the hell would expect an undead, supremely powerful warlock's battlecry to be for pony? No one and that's why he does it, imo. If you're his enemy, not only do you die being burned to a crisp, you die confused.... evil, so evil....

I like this pony the most. though if anyone has seen the episode of robot chicken where therye's the apocalypse pony's, i think rickard would love those.

Actually guys, he has no obsession with ponies.. its a battle cry he used to make fun of cales obsession with gamlon. he burns and ignites ponies every day!

Haha that's what I thought about when I got around to thinking about what kind of pony Richard would be all about. "My Little Pony, Apocalypse pony, punishment for mankind's sins . . ."

Or, you know, Richard at one point encountered the pony I knew named "Freckles," who mysteriously disappared one Halloween (well, not mysteriously, but we all thought it fitting she left on Halloween). He may have come across her and her biting, bucking, evil ways in the bowels of Hell from whence she came, and was impressed by her.

Pony is the name of his brother whom he killed over a dispute a long time ago, but he still respects his brother's ability and willingness to rain terror and death upon those who it is most fun to rain it upon, and thus dedicates his slaughter to him.

Pony is not a name -.- I think Richard just had the "For Pony" battlecry to go against Cale, just like a few others said. he probably wanted to see what Cale's reaction was

either that, or he really likes ponies, and would probably choose the War Pony over the rest

There are two options IMO:

- Pony is a proper name of something really important for Richard, whatever it is, a person, the town he is the mayor of, who knows. Then he said his battlecry is for ponies to bug Cale.
- Pony is a really lovely pony, as the pink one in the first page, named Pony. He had that pony when he was alive, something really tragic happened to his pony, killing the pony and maybe even Richard, then he lays waste and death everywhere as a vengeance against the world for the death of his beloved pony.

I don't think the whole "FOR PONY" is to bug Cale because of the flames in his eyes the second time he says it.

I don't think it is a black lethal pony because it would be too predictable and adds nothing to the story or Richard.

but i believe that pony was his pet fish, and that when his pet fish died (as all fish do) he ate it, believing that if he didnt it eat it he would have wasted pony's life, but what he didnt realise was that he has a severe allergy to fish and so he died, and thus the Richard we all know and love was born... well, died....

I'm abit surprised no one commented on the fact that the "PONY!" battlecry has been in WoW for a long time. Must be because of the WoW-inspired-yet-not-WoW nature of LFG.

"Pony" was a battlecry for alot of my old guildmates 1½ years ago in our world pvp guild. I believe it's history is basicly:

own -> pwn -> pwny -> pony...

Dunno who came up with it originally, tho. But I loved seeing it again when i saw Richard say it, haven't seen anyone use it since i was alliance on Frostwhisper (EU) a year ago.

So, I believe it really is his battlecry.

it was probably just to say "hey, i have a cooler battel cry than you " lol
