I'm glad you finally bowed and started reading Salvatore, by the way. His introspective nature of writing may wear on some, but I find that kind of writing helps me discover things about myself as well- allows me to put myself in a situation played out for me and to examine my own honest feelings. I've become a better person by reading about Drizz't, as lame as it sounds =P

And Orson Scott Card's series of Ender books are amazing- You should consider reading Speaker for the Dead as well as Ender's Shadow among the others.

Well besides this belonging in the announcement page under what ever thread Sohmer has going welcome and I hope to see more of you. We also have a book thread on the comic page so it doesn't get derailed.
