Ok, i've read this book several times from the beginning to the end, upside down, from the end to the beginning, in audio tape. Its my favourite book of all times. However i cannot find what the h*ll happens to Zaphod in the end, everyone gets blown up when earth blows up. But Zaphod isn't there is he? Wth happend to him?

Can't say, I think he just buggers off all together long before Mostly Harmless, but I think that people that haven't read the books would like it if you put the spoiler bar over the ending.

Spoiler bars are there for a reason, and those who haven't read it should, lest you face the wrath of Hunter.

Well i guess since the description says it's about the ending most people would get it.
I'm still confused though, but i guess that's what some Authors do. He couldn't find anything more interesting to write about him so he just vanished from teh story.
