Anyone notice that back in the day ppl use to pick on kids with big glasses and knock the books they where carrying, down to the floor. Well what happened to those good ol days?
I just noticed something, the emo kids of today are the geeks of yesterday...

Everyone likes to pick on them the same, most of them have glasses/Contacts and they pretty much shrivel up the minute you poke them... to hard.

I think a emo kid is the effect of what happens when you pick on Nerds for too long, they all become more, depressed and sad.. it just creates this sort of trend or fashion..
What don't believe me? Well look at the trend setters for these emo kids... Like.. marlyon mansion for example, what was he before a big icon? a sociology challenged geek.

From what I understand, they aren't doing it because they've been picked on too hard, it's because they crave attention, the pathetic little bastards deserve whatever they get, its like being Paris Hilton, but instead of trying to show up everywhere, you hurt yourself and try to express "individuality" by being an exact replica of all the other emos.

For the record, goths are cool, I have nothing against them, their whiny pathetic knock-offs, not so much.

Well I'd say take solace in the fact that we'll be the heads of fortune 500 companies, but that only ever happens to the really lucky smart people, the rest of us end up in dead end jobs or as drug addicts.

I think Emo is the new whiny Goth...only instead of writing bad poetry, they write bad songs.

And I wear glasses...I have no idea whether I should be offended or not. I wear the plastic ones because I break every other kind, and if I wear contacts I have a tendency to forget them. The record is 3 months of straight contact wearing.

For the sake of my eyes I chose nerd glasses!

I have perfect 20/20 vision, but in my opinion, I look good in glasses.

Emo kids just make me so mad, life isn't that bad cheer the fuck up and leave bad acoustic guitar songs to the professionals.

I also wear glasses, so I really can't have problems with people who do, its all emos nerds/geeks/dorks are fine.

I happen to have a fetish for glasses (although I don't need them myself) so I never really had anything against the "nerdy" kids. I was always one of them, myself, and in all respects, I was frequently ostracized for knowing every answer... that was until middle school when it actually became somewhat challenging and all of a suddenly everyone's kissing my... pardon, I'm venting again.

As for emos, I say we let them continue the whole "I'm cool 'cause I'm angst-y" bit until they realize how annoying they are. I feel the need to break out into "I must be Emo" song right now, but I can't quite remember all the lyrics.

I am ostracized (sort of. not really I guess.) for nerdy likes, but not necessarily smarts. although I do find people I dont know as well often coming to me for help or considering me smart. Yay me!

I wear glasses and am constantly ridiculed for being a hardcore gamer but people with glasses don't bother me.
Nerds and Geeks know that everyone thinks they are losers and i am a nerd so to speak but the thing is, emo's don't know they are douché bags they think that hating life and slitting their wrist and writing TERRIBLE songs makes them someone important.

Its sad really, but I'm don't feel sorry for them, its what they want.
