Is it RED red or just orange red, cause if it's RED red you got a Luna eclipse.
It's 2:50pm at the moment. No moon for me.

It could just mean that the air you're breathing is extra polluted today...

The moon here turned purple; it's the desert sands in the atmosphere. It's a natural phenomenon, not one of pollution. Also, it looks pretty cool.

COOL! thats almost as cool as the aurora borealis! which i have never (but hope to someday) seen!
The only interesting sky phenomena here in the greenest city in america is that once I saw a cool sunset where the light went up in a pillar which was awsome. We also sometimes get magnetic radiation bombarding the atmosphere which produces a pink light in the sky (for anyone who has never read Decipher this means its not getting very far in. green means its getting extremely far in)

The night sky over Glacier National Park was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

on a night with no moon, you can see the milky way from your own house here. Unfortunately I'm not allowed out at night. Same rules as the cat apply. A Full moon here gives you no stars though.

It sucks that you aren't allowed out, night's the best time to be out, unless there's less than friendly people there, you know the kind I mean.

My house is far enough away so that we can see stars and the moon. and like yours, we can see the milky way. But I am allowed out at night
