Serpentbane
Well, this may be a very inauspicious first(ish) post, but... Crunch r oarsum.

And if I misread or am delirious in the fact that Crunch's name may not in fact be Crunch, this is of course, the grey Minotaur/Tauren fanclub. >>

He broke a dragon's neck, man. With his bare freaking hands. XD
TheGrubz
listen, we got one fanclub here and thats the richard fanclub, he froze one without the use of any vital organs, thats even better, but I will admit the tauren dude is admirably skilled in the art of head stompin
Serpentbane
Yeah, but Crunch has manly facial hair.

OHBURN. =P
anonymityisbest
so?
richard could burn him any day...LITERALLY...
Serpentbane
I'll burn you! *fist-shake*
banana man
crunch is my favorite person in LFG (tied with richard of course) cuz tauren r awsome and yes he totaly owned a dragon with his bare hands with no freezing involved so he is really strong.
TheGrubz
well, this is all very good and such but umm...how do i say this delicately, richard burns down orphanages and crunch does not, simple
banana man
oh you will see, crunch will have his moment in due time just u wait. crunch ftw! tongue.gif
TheGrubz
yea, well every moment is a richard moment
banana man
but soon there will be another crunch moment!
Serpentbane

Do I hear a "Richard The Warlock Facts" fad coming on? =O
TheGrubz
yes, and it sounds like screaming orphans
Serpentbane
XD

And I still maintain that the mean, green, and decidedly attractive priestess is better than all the rest.
Felixaar
I dont think you can decide to be attractive. Unless you get plastic surgery.

We don't know Crunch that well yet, maybe he demolishes it by throwing a dragon on it. Bet Richard couldn't do that... Or could he huh.gif
Sethril
You guys are all skirting around the real issue that you obviously want to tackle, and that is who the heck would win in a battle. Crunch or Richard!

So on one hand you've got Crunch: Dragon neck breaker, Tauren, bad assed, thick, burly, heavyset cool melee fighter

And in the other corner you've got Richard: Warlock with attitude, loves to burn things, snippy humor and what could easily be a womans dress....(yeah I had to throw that in there)

Richard burns things.......fur burns quick.........

Then again Crunch looks like he can take whatever he can dish, so I don't imagine him being all that miffed by a bit of pain, sure Richard may set him on fire, but I've got this picture in my head of the big man grabbing that cowled face and smashing into....oh I don't know, an orphanage?
soylent_greentastic
Krunch (tisn't crunch >>) does have the fact that richard has a schoolgirl crush/hero-worship complex over him.

YOU DON"T KNOW!! His lower face is covered... he could have a killer goatee under there.

All I got to say is

Richard VS Crunch = Flame Broiled Whopper
Nebbeny
Flame broiled whopper put in cold storage, ya mean?

brought up a good point there Soylent. Richard is in love with Krunch's (thanks for the correction) massive muscles. This may be used against Krunch though if he doesn't acknowledge our poor Warlock though, scorn burns hotter then any flames I've ever met.
Serpentbane
Yeah, kudos, Green.

And, I agree. Richard is enamoured with Krunch's boot-facking ability. Maybe It's because Richard probably couldn't lift Small-Wheat-Gathering-Peasant-Child-Whose-Father-Was-Killed-By-Cale without a Bull's Strength spell.

And I'm not sure the Priestess is a DnD cleric, though she may very well borrow from that realm of influence, I mean, LFG is great that it's based off of fantasy culture in GENERAL.

The main thing I like about Krunch is that he isn't a drooling, inarticulate moron, like I thought Sohmer was gonna write him. XD Hurrah! A smart hired muscle!
soylent_greentastic
dont call me soylent >>

and krunch fills the role of "tank", like benny fills the role of healer, richard fills the role of heavy support, and cale fills the role of richard's amusement
shiosk
They need a rogue to flesh things out. You think Cale's agile enough to fill that?

Course, he'd never stoop so low as to steal something... heh... unless no one told him he was stealing it....
~Antiluz~
Firstly, my two favourite tied characters are Benny and Crunch. (benny a lil more)

I like Richard, he's great but meh

Benny just rocks.

Crunch/Krunch, Anyone reading the actual "Lore" (WoW Lore) of the Tauren Race will automatically recognize the greatness in there, But hey, The Garroting of the dragon would impress the others, I like him because of his personality, to me he just seems laid back and "go with the flow" 'ish, and thats what i like, Plus Richard is totally in love with him ;;>.>
shiosk
I'm just glad that they didn't represent him as the stereotypical 'stupid big guy'. It always bugs me, specially with minotaurs. The minotaur wasn't supposed to be stupid: he was supposed to be able to find his way out of an effectively endless maze. So yeah. Crunch is cool.

Man, check my above post. XD Great minds think alike.

I also like the thought of smart minotaurs. I mean, in some fantasyverse's (like the Warcraftverse, as an easy example), they're granted society, intelligence, all that. And I like that, which is weird; 'cause I don't like mammals that much.

Hmm. I write minotaurs, in my fantasyverse, as a colossal amphibious creature that makes its home in winding underground caverns. >> Basically, a very angry, pigmentless, horned frog.

Clothes itself in moss-slimes and suchlike for camouflage, and giving unfortunate humans the impression of fur.

Not smart, but a good instinctual sense of direction, since it's near blind, in its subterranean home.
shiosk
Where did the frogginess come from?
Serpentbane

Well, mostly from the fact that I like herps more than mammals, but also, you don't find many deeply subterranean mammals; mostly amphibians (usually aquatic salamanders, though), fish, and arhtropods.

Oh, forgot to add; they ARE bipedal. Hunched, but bipedal.

Not to argue, but I thought the Minotaur was supposed to STAY in the maze...and eat people. Or kill them, or whatever. Just sayin'.

I like the idea of him smart, 'cause Cale is ignorant enough for the four of them.

Well... your... your stupid. Yeah.

Mere facts cannot get in MY way. I stand by my earlier statement.

I had hopes for the little midget before he became Richard's hand puppet and our amusement. Maybe we'll see someone else enter later on.......much later on, but for now I'm guessing Cale will slowly become the archer/rogue. It's a nice fit, and the possibility of him being duped and coherced into action promises many laughs!

im sure theyll exploit cales innocence.

umm...I thought the maze was made to keep him in it, he even died there too
banana man
yes the laberynth or "maze" is supposed to keep the minitour in but it most likely knows the whole thing front to back tongue.gif

only the dorky shave

(screw all yalls I aint updatin on that)
Space_Mummy
Krunch rocks for any reasons.

1. He's a minotaur/tauren

2. He killed a dragon

3. Richard has a man crush on him

4. He killed a dragon

Did I mention he killed a dragon?
TheGrubz
Yes, several times....

if richard could freeze a dragon, he would have no trouble freezing krunch and subsequently melting him, there, you have a puddle of water to tackle dragons now
shiosk
Of course, Krunck could probably tear richard in half. But.. I don't think that's really accomplish much.
TheGrubz
yea, he could just you know, keep on being undead afterwards, those guys dont need legs
banana man
yes krunch could/can pummel and break richard but
1.hes already dead
2.undead r hard to kill again
3.spells have alot of lethality
so its kinda a 50/50
