Long hair is the sign of a true man. I haven't cut mine since I tried going bald for a while back in '99, lost all my powers and they were slow to return. Besides, long hair can double as a fur collar when it gets really cold. Always nice to be prepared.

Long hair only looks good on the select few. You, Roshi-san, however, pull it off nicely.

Why thank you, but you are only helping to inflate my ego, as my hair is one of my vanities. Almost every woman I meet want to play with it or braid it or somesuch. Curse my thick haired Scottish roots.

I wish I could grow long hair, mine grows into a mullet :/. Its not good for anyone
SenbeiRoshi
Nov 28 2007, 08:23 PM
Going from short to long hair always has the dangerous mullet stage, but with perseverance, you can emerge with a full mane proclaiming your manliness and virility, or possibly just your liking for a very special herb the world smoked before discovering tobacco.

Nov 28 2007, 08:27 PM
nope, it just gets more mullety, no matter how long I leave it for, it just keeps curling up

You were destined to be the British Joe Dirt. Don't ask who it is, just look it up.
Josef bugman
Nov 28 2007, 10:30 PM
No, that is not my destiny.
Mainly because I can't do anything even vaguely physical and also because my little bros hair grows into an afro, if joe dirt had had that none of that would have happened

Heh, I just grow mine out till it covers my ears, then I don't have to wear lame-ass winter hats.
Josef bugman
Nov 28 2007, 11:42 PM
I just wear "Jazz hats" they look cool and you don't have long hair

, BTW this is probably the wrong place to ask this dave, but what is a taoist?
The Lone David
Nov 29 2007, 12:19 AM
It's a chinese religion based on the Tao Te Ching, it was written by Lao Tzu about 200 years before Confucius was born.
I'm too tired to go through all the details right now, but it deals a lot with philosophy and has been described as the Chinese equivalent of Christianity, though the two are very different.

I dunno, Confucianism is the religion that tells you to almost blindingly follow people born into authority, not Taoism.
It's nature based, isn't it?

Not really, Taoism preaches action through inaction, and simple and gradual enlightenment. Much like Northern Zen Buddhism which is a merging of Taoism with Indian Buddhism.

Bah. Long hair is for hippies and women

. Real men cut it short and keep it above their ears and collar. Perhaps I shall grace you all with my own picture. Eventually.

Real men realize that if they let their hair grow down over their ears, it'll keep their heads warm in the winter months.

ROFLS! It is in the winter months now and I still go outside in shorts and a T-shirt. And still manage to sweat just standing around.

for grym:
Bacardi Razz with Fanta or Sprite
Tequila sunrise - tequila, orange juice, syrup
Amaretto, plain or with coke
Southern Comfort with sprite or coke
Gin Tonic
Red Vodka Red bull
just a few very sweet drinks from the top of my head which are still nice and you almost don't taste the alcohol

I tell you that means nothing if you stay in your house. And your parents say its okay.
Grym
Dec 10 2007, 09:46 PM
Yeah, but the likelyhood of my parents bringing any of that into my house is next to nothing. My parents drink nothing more than wine and beer. Which both taste terrible.
