which tatoo hurt the most? I was always tempted to get one but .... well it seemed a little cliche , and I couldn't think up a good design

Yea the back was a tiny bit painful but damn it's your back..

and when my hip was being done it was fine...when we got to the buterfly part...

It didn't get painful till the darkening of everything...By the time the coloring came around my skin was so sensitive and raw I wanted to cry...I didn't...not until that tattoo artist slapped me twice right after he finished it..I burst into freakin tears...

jebus, that seems slightly excessive. The slap I mean. I suppose the logical question is "why" why did he do it , and why did you decide on getting this amount of art on your body

He did it cuz I had said that the first person in the barracks to see them was gonna slap it...So he wanted to be the first...and he was...twice...

The 2 crosses on my back represent my struggles..

The angelic cross because I need to keep good structure in mylife...the Vampiric cross to show my failure, weaknesses, struggles, etc that I need to grow past

The butterfly because my sister is my number one in life, my best friend my everything without her I'd die. She loves butterflies and I love stars so I have her first and middle name with it..

The cross on my leg that says "Be Still And Know That I Am God" with the briarthorn that Jesus wore upon his head when he was crucified to remind me that God sacraficed so much as well as Jesus for me. That I am here because of them alone.

Na I have a medicine cabinet thing in our bathroom that has 3 little doors all with mirrors so it's easy to look at em lol

A CD, a router, some nail polish, tweezers, an earring, assorted pencils, a crayon, a few bottlecaps and a phonebook.

Nothing wrong with a straight guy wanting things to be clean.

Its wrong when there is so much crap in the damn shower you can barely move .

I have about 2 things I take into the shower, shampoo and gel thats it , I don't need lavender stuff to go in my hair as well.

You can also play with it.

To shave my friendly place my arms my legs my arm pits wash my hair with shampoo then with conditioner and to wash my body come out squeaky clean and soft shaven legs...

I just do my beard, good lord

Everything I use is absolutely necessary.

My sister does the same thing I do and spends 25-40 mins in the shower.

I've never really gotten interested in writing tattoos, the only one I would consider is "Yo solo se que no se nada", it means "I only know I don't know anything", across my chest.

they all mean something

the one on my back is Latin and it is one of my family mottos (as it turns out, it's a shared motto and one of the guys on my ship is from a different branch of my family that also used this motto) and it means "while i breathe i hope, while i hope i live"

the one on my arm is Gaelic and it was my last name (weir) before it was anglisized. it's actually the part that was removed (whole thing was 'weir mac an maoir'). the last part is pronounced 'moyar'.

the wolf is done in a blend of Celtic and Norse knotwork which are a large part of my heritage.

i have ideas for three more. one more text and two more images (kinda balance it out, though that wasn't my original thought).
'nihil verius' which is just the 'weir' family motto (no sharing with other families, that i know of) and it means 'nothing more true'.

i also want to get two ravens. they also have to do with my heritage. Huginn and Muninn (jfgi ). i originally had the idea down in 'A' (apprenticeship) school (which is where the navy teaches you the very basics of the job you have chosen (IT in my case)) and was to be on either side of my neck as though they were whispering in my ears but i remembered the uniform regs (which nobody i know pays attention to) which state that they aren't to show in uniform so i'm going to get them just under my right collar bone as though they are flying up from my hand to my neck.

last on my mind as of now is a double helix (dna strand) which doesn't really have to do with my heritage but signifies 'only human'.

i know exatly how i want it to look but i can't draw worth shit so i've been looking through tons of pictures of ravens in flight to find something to get a referance image. i think i may have found two, they just need to be adapted so they would look good as a tattoo.

at some point i want to get something with some color in it. maybe the double helix and the text. i think the ravens would look beter monotone or greyscale.
