I got fancy on the 4th (US Independence Day). Apparently, though, I looked Chinese.

When I go to work, I either get one of two things... people calling me John Lennon (when I shave) or like now, when I haven't shaved in a while, they just look at me and make a sign of the cross and call me "lord" lol

So Gigs told me this would be the best place to put mah pics. =P I was testing out the Photoshop trial version (CS2), so I went ahead and touched up a few pics in my collection (yes, I took them myself =P).





And now for a SPECIAL TASTIC ONE. I cropped out the windshield. Of our car. So it looked less cheesy. Lulz.

This cake was made on the days of April 22 and 23. Reason I never posted this before? Er. Laziness I suppose. >__>

VOLCANO CAKE! For a novel project. :3 The novel in question is Iris Johansen's "Blind Alley", which takes place partially in Italy. One of the characters continued to have nightmares/dreams about being in a volcano, namely Mt. Vesuvius, which not only destroyed Pompeii but also the city of Herculaneum, which is what the lumpy parts in next to the 'ocean' is supposed to be.









Mt. Vesuvius and Herculaneum (Italy!), in cake form. It was for my novel project, I was extremely happy with it and I still am to this day. And yes, it IS a cake. 100% C-A-K-E. .. Okay, 99.9999% cake, .0001% toothpicks for structural support.

This was the first non-traditional cake I've ever done and it's inspired me to go after a career in the culinary arts. :3

Cake is 2 layers chocolate cake (the volcano part) and one part vanilla (bottommost layer), chocolate icing, vanilla icing, and an icing made of butter, powdered sugar and food coloring. I er, forgot that I was supposed to use unsalted butter, but it still tasted great all the same. It tasted like lava. XD

And that's all, no more pictures for you-people.

Cakes. That I've done. XD Well, one cake, the other one was really lousy. The second thing was a Fella sculpture for a contest on deviantArt, you guys may have seen that blasphemous contraption whilst browsing through. XD I didn't win, but it was a good experience nonetheless.

Oh to hell with it.

I'm actually an amateur magician. Ask Ryan about my creepy mormon magic. And no, I didn't use tape or glue and I am not touching any of the aces.


My right eye is especially sensitive to light, so I made this eyepatch... unfortunately I lost it. I made it out of a sunglass lens with a non-reflective front... it worked really well, I could see through it, but to others it looked like my eye was covered.


Also trying to learn the ways of the sword. I prefer reversed grip.

I was bored so now you get a modified version of my previous post, a la Vegas Movie Studio.



I think it came out nicely. I really just wanted to brighten it a bit and up the contrast a little, but then I needed to make it shiny so the quality didn't suck, and so... this is the result. -shrugs-
