By the way, what were those little orbs Benny cast right before Krunch tossed Richard?

Did Krunch just do an anime tripfall in the last panel over the fact that they have to pay for the mast now?

Nah, I think he just fainted. That's probably why he's been tied down all this time. He doesn't have very good sea legs.

By the way, I love how Richard looks in panel 3. Almost chibi. ^^

Those are Richard's--he used them against Obi-Wan's ghost. Benny's got a shield above his head, though.


And Benny's wearing harem pants--I believe it's commonplace for them to be see-through. *nodnod* Though, she had black undergarments under them before...they seem to have been lost to the sea, or something to that effect. >.>'

I'm talking about in the panel where Krunch is just about to throw Richard. Now that I think about it though, those little orbs were probably mini shields to keep Richard's fire from burning Krunch's hands.

Cale looks kinda freaked out about something...judging from his ridged posture.

I think that those are little heals that Benny was casting on Krunch's hands, kinda like a heal over time, or channeled thing. And it looks kinda like Cale was announcing with the microphone thing.

And Cale is the only one looking at Richard wondering if they are going to bring him back on board for a while.

I've been saying "Richard FTW" since I first started reading.

Has anyone else noted that the dark areas around Benny's eyes have come back? Although her tusk is still MIA.

Benny still has her tusk. It's just that it now looks more like an underbite. Like in the last panel, when Benny smiles you can see the one tooth sticking up.

Lol yeah, I just looked through all of them again, and yeah, she has that pointy tooth on the one side. I just didn't notice before. but yeah, it's still there, but she has been smiling a lot lately so it hasn't had much of a chance to stand out.

I thought Cale was just saluting the dead legion. Remember, not long ago he wanted to be on their side, but because of his oath to Benny he had to fight them. I *think* the defenders are the descendants of.... (I can't remember their name right now), but I'm not sure; but even if they are his goody side might still win through and at least mourn them a little (once they can't hurt him anymore ). Those are just my thoughts though.

And yeah, I noticed that too, Richard is still posted to the small strip of mast..... Lol for some reason I get this image in my head of Richard keeping it as a pet....

Wait a minute! If Richard has the ability to set his whole body on fire, why didn't he do that on page 11 when he had a dragon sitting on him? He told Cale that he couldn't do anything because both of his arms were locked down.

As you may have noticed, he had to fire his hands up first. But what ever, if he'd fired up then;
1: Cale would be a crips
2: Krunch wouldn't have made his unique entrance.

I think the orbs are Benny protecting Krunch's hands while he throws the burning mast lol.

As for Cale's rigid posture, I'd agree that he's saluting his defeated foes :-p

Everyone was rousted out of bed by the attack, remember? Those two sailors were about to rob Krunch in the middle of the night when Richard roasted them. Then Vraay showed up, then the Legion boat showed up. Benny got rousted out of bed with the rest of the crew. That's also why Cale was shirtless when the Legion first appeared.

Then why didn't he stay shirtless? *cry*

They need to use the flaming torpedo attack more often, that was just plain awesome.

Oh and to those who think Richard is still attached to the mast: Richard just set everything on fire, himsefl, the mast, and the enemy. So that mast is ashes right now.

I think what added to the effect of the ship sinking in a fiery mass was all the flaming bodies flying out all around the ship. Hilariously morbid!

You made a pretty good point, but they just seem to be her cooler clothes. If you look back on page 47, she's wearing them, plain as day (pun intended)...though, she seems to be missing the undergarments now.

Loved it, extremely funny. Just wondering if the "Fire it up" was wink-wink- to Starcraft (firebats, they own, you know they do). And definitly an epic moment for the richard n' krunch duo, causing massive amounts of destruction with very little effort

Can't wait for the next one (and damn, the entire central mast, how exactly strong is krunch? (expecting like an ox puns ;p))
