Seriously, it will be great to look up some background outside of direct comic quotes. Looking forward to it.

I'm pretty sure the word "human" translates to "squabbling fool" in some primative language. Thus, a codex probably won't stop us from arguing. We're all pretty sure we're right about everything, so it won't be long before someone tells the creators that they're wrong because of this gaming world or that D&D book, and the argument's right back on again.

No worries, mate.

It would be funny to see them get shot down by the simple "We don't base everything of <Insert game here>" Finally letting them stop complaining over it...

People will start arguing with Sohmer about how he is incorrect about the characters and world he created.

It's pathetic really...

But is there going to be character information that we don't have yet, or are they going to gradually build the codex as we learn new facts?

Okay, for all the nay, neigh, nhi! sayers- sure, there will be those who keep arguing, but hose should be whiddled down a bit. I haven't checked every topic and posts that comes up, but when something came up in the comic that shot someone's theory down, most have owned it so far.

As to extra stuff. Well, the maps which Sohmer gave us a peek at are definitely extra. I don't think every little question that comes up will be answered, and I'm sure he'll save juicy bits of mystery rather than give away all the answers to the more common questions, but I can hope some extra stuff will be in there aside from maps.

but anyway, did you notice that a little village up the coast just so happens to be called "The Village of the Damned"....any clues on where that might have come from?
