Cheddar, does anyone think of the cheese shop skit when they hear about types of cheese?

Best. Skit. Ever.

Jun 2 2007, 07:47 PM
Do you in fact have any cheese here at all?
Nope, it was just a deliberate waste of your time.
All right then, I'm going to have to shoot you.
Right o sir.
*BANG*
What a senseless waste of life.

I was watching And now for something completely different and they redid it, so funny. Lumberjack song is my favorite.

I'm a big fan of the Blackmail skit. Or, even better, the Village Idiot skit.
Otherwise, münster cheese is excellent, along with quark, the soft, spreadable cheese sold in Germany.

Jun 3 2007, 03:23 AM
Oh, god. I can't even LOOK at cheese anymore. I... I had some bad expiriences with it, a few times.

I've always liked melting some provolone over some roast beef. Swiss would be my second choice.
This sir, is a LATE PARROT!

For the record, I like all cheese. My personal favorite is fresh mozzerella (which is completely different from regular mozzerella). Oh, and also, MONTY PYTHON RULES!

It's okay hunter. He hasn't learned the fine art of subtly derailing a thread.

I guess, its more of the 35 degree heat outside, I hate the heat. thats about what 90-100 F?

It's pretty damn hot here too, 93 F and I have to do yardwork eventually.

True stuff, but we really need some more consistant posters.
Kayhynn
Jun 3 2007, 10:15 PM
I used to be consistant but work got in the way =( Though I have been told, many times, we'd have more posters if every thread here didn't turn into a derail fest.
Nothing we can do about it, but it would be niceif there were less derailments *hint hint*
The Lone David
Jun 3 2007, 10:17 PM
Derailments seem to happen naturally in no premeditated way, they're just part of these forums...
Hunter
Jun 3 2007, 10:17 PM
I usually give a thread time to see if it will make it by being on topic, if it is bridged to something similar it can still be saved.
Kayhynn
Jun 3 2007, 10:20 PM
TBH, half the time I read threads that have less than a few posts in them because I can keep up on them and they stay on topic. Only time I check topics that dont have a few replies is if there is a report of rule breakage.
And for the record, those of you (yes plural) that reported this thread as spam, please learn what spamis. This isn't spam, it's forum whoring.

Jun 3 2007, 11:08 PM
THIS THREAD WAS ORIGINALLY ABOUT CHEESE, PEOPLE! Now you're talking about the spam song! And you say I derailed it? I don't plan on going anywhere by the way. Gonna be a constant poster (despite the unreasonable hatred directed towards me from certain unnamed moderators). Anycheez, St. Andre is probably my single favorite spread cheese. Fresh mozzerella is my favorite soft cheese. I'm not entirely sure about my favorite hard cheese. I like camonbert, brie, and muenster too. Cheddar is good, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was my favorite. My least favorite cheese is without a doubt swiss. Too bitter. I really hate moldy cheese. Bleu cheese dressing is ok if you don't think about it too hard. BRING BACK CHEESE COMMENTS! Bob out.

Well I don't really go around eating cheese to bland. I like to have cheese with stuff like on my burger, on my pizza, with my scrambled eggs but I'm not really into eating cheese by itself.

My life essentially revolves around cheese. Sure you can have it on stuff (and in some cases it is much better that way). Other times, cheese by itself makes the perfect snack. Take cheddar for example. Hand me a brick of cheddar and I will gnaw on it until it is no more. Hand me a hundred slices of muenster and they'll be gone in a matter of minutes. After all, what is there not to love about cheese?

I like Parmesaen...
Parmesan is good, but that's one of the few cheeses I wouldn't eat a straight block of. I like it on spaghetti and salad and stuff. Good parmesan is fairly sharp, so yeah... Best parmesan I've ever tasted was at Olive Garden. Really fresh. Excellent.
The Lone David
Jun 4 2007, 09:08 PM
You really wouldn't eat a block of it? I'm gnawing on one as I type this...
Bob Vader
Jun 4 2007, 09:15 PM
And your head hasn't exploded yet? I'll bet you're eating the mild kind. The classy parmesan is really really sharp. A block of it would end your life story faster than you can say HERMYSHWARTZBOB!
WOOT! I just noticed something special about my last post. Try and figure out what it is...
