For me, it's more that I didn't type my story anywhere but here on the forum. Even if I likely won't do anything with it in the future, it is nice to know that I have it somewhere. rolleyes.gif

Oh, yeah. I stopped worrying about losing files of stories I'd written once I'd put them on there. Even the big series I really want to finish someday is on the sister site.

Seriously though, checking the User List I see guest users browsing "non-existent" fanfics. I don't think they're truly gone, they just don't show up in the fanfic page. But then how do these guests find them?

Does Not Play Well With Others

They're not gone. You just have to change your settings. The default board setting only shows you topics that have been active in the last 90 days.
Go to the bottom right of a topic list and you should see this:



Change "From: 90 days" to "Show All", check the "remember these options" box and hit "Go", and you'll see all the topics. Might have to redo it now and then if your cookies are erased though.
