Those of you who follow my twitter are aware that last week, we soft launched a Richard-themed browser add on for Firefox. As the launch went quite well (only a few small explosions), we wanted to open it up fully to see if we could get the rest of the kinks out.

To download the theme, and for more information, follow this link.

Your feedback is much appreciated, and please let us know any suggestions, issues etc that you may have in the forum, with this very thread.

I am using it and I will say my browser is now the sexiest thing on my computer, next to the background of mini-Richard, of course.

It sets the default search engine to Yahoo!

Needless to say, I am not using the Richard theme.

So... just change it to google...

changing it to google makes google the new default. not. hard.

btw the theme is quite fancy, not sure how work appropriate it is to have a demon for a browser...but it stays up till someone complains biggrin.gif nice work!

Darn it. It seems I have to download version 3 in order to use the browser, something I have refused to do up until this point. I'm not sure that even Richard is worth switching.

On a similar note, is the spell check on v3 capable of recognizing contractions as words yet?

Some annoyances to note:
• Doesn't skin the StumbleUpon toolbar
• Makes the status bar (bottom) too short - icons placed there by other add-ons hang over the edge

Relevant system info: Mac OS X 10.5.6, Firefox 3.0.10

Only problem i have is that one of my add-ons has a white border now on the button, no biggie, i can fix that myself.

Both my add-ons with buttons on the status bar look fine, seems the same size as normal to me *shrugz*

Besides that, I'd suggest more colorful buttons for Home, New Tab, and all the other grey buttons, they look out of place next to the green and red ones on here already.
Also, a template for basic buttons would be nice so that we can replace the buttons for our add-ons with something closer to the scheme.

I'm diggin' it... love the color scheme, and easy to read, but like Valekai suggested, making the home button a little brighter will help make it more easily identifiable... other than that, no real complaints smile.gif

I think the theme looks awesome!

I did have a problem with the items bar not being skinned. It's a big gray block in my screen not very pretty. Some other toolbars I tried out didn't skin as well. I also think more colorful buttons for new tab and print would be great.

I had to set my theme back to default, then on the right hand side of the LFG bar there is a boom icon, click this icon and pick show big boom. That's how I got it to work.
